AUTUMN FEST & PUNKIN’ CHUNKIN’
Starting at 3:00 P.M.
Ready....fire... launch, You can try to launch a pumpkin at a target, for distance or into buckets and win prizes!!!
Wahkiakum Chamber is having a for sure...Punkin' Chunkin' contest that is not equaled anywhere else in the world. Pumpkins are useful in many ways -- as a filling for pie, a jack-o'-lantern, and, as it turns out, as a projectile.
Friday September 30th join us for the Country Days event at the Two Islands Farm Market, at Stockhouse’s farm, 59 w. Birnie Slough Rd. (on Puget Island), Cathlamet, WA, for the Second Annual Wahkiakum Chamber Autumn Fest & Punkin’ Chunkin’,
Try your hand and your skill test the limits of pumpkin physics, are you willing to give it a go! with the famous"Rogulator!” A machine using stretched rubber bands, which store energy, and when the bands are pulled and then released, the Rogulator hurls the pumpkin.
There is still time to build your own Machine and try to out-shoot the famous Rogulator.
Food available!
You’ll be hungry and we have just the solution for that. Our very own Wahkiakum Cheerleaders will have burgers and hot dogs for sale! (Although the girls will be cheering at an away game, we will have plenty of SPIRIT to share with you on their behalf.)
